Carpentry - Cerificate

This course is designed for individuals who currently work in the carpentry sector or are looking to build a career in carpentry or joinery within the construction industry. It provides you with the opportunity to develop, strengthen and practise the essential practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the trade.     • Producing basic woodworking joints
    • How to maintain and use carpentry and joinery hand tools
    • How to prepare and use carpentry and joinery portable power tools
  • Entry Requirements

    You will need GCSE's at Grade 2 or above

  • Assessment

    Practical portfolio and some online and in class exams

  • Moving Forward

    You can progress on to a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Diploma or study an Apprenticeship
